Scope

It is our great pleasure to welcome all of you to the 14th IAPR Conference on Machine Vision Applications (MVA2015), in Tokyo, Japan. The conference is co-sponsored by the MVA Organization, IAPR TC-8, and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). For MVA2015, we received 213 submissions from 35 countries around the world. Among these submissions, we selected 28 papers for oral presentation and 112 papers for poster presentation. A rigorous peer-reviewing process was carried out by 105 outstanding reviewers composed of active researchers and engineers from around the world. We thank the members of the Program Committee for their enormous efforts in the reviewing process and publicity for the conference. We look forward to engaging and fruitful discussions on machine vision during this season of new green leaves in the capital city.

SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'.
