Scope

International Conference on Power Systems (ICPS) takes place every alternate year with venue chosen either from India or Nepal. The 6th edition of the ICPS was taken place at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, India during March 4-6, 2016 and it was organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, lIT, Delhi. The conference has provided an opportunity for researchers, academicians, scientists and professional engineers to present their work, publish their results, exchange ideas and network for scientific and industrial collaborations. The emphasis was put on peer-reviewed papers with high technical quality. Theme of conference this time was, "Stepping into next generation grids" keeping emphasis on relevant topics. The conference was aims to cover the following areas in Power System: Power Systems Operation and Control, Power System Planning, Power Quality & Harmonics, Power System Reliability, Distributed Generation, Renewable Energy, Electricity Markets and Power System Economics, Smart Grids, Power Electronics and Drives, Electrical Machines, Energy Management, Sustainable Energy, Industrial Automation and Control, AI Applications in Power Systems, High Voltage, Condition Monitoring and Power System Protection. A plenty number of the research works has been received, out of which 256 papers has been selected and presented by their respective authors into the conference. ICPS 2016 has also showcased three tutorials by eminent experts from across the world on a variety of topics. The conference has also provided opportunity to BSES Yamuna Power Limited, DST, Govt. Of India, DynaFusion, POSOCO, OPAL-RT, IEEE, Semikron and lEX to display their products, services and software's/hardware's. Join the conversation about this journal
SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.
