Scope

•The Journal of African films and Diaspora Studies (JAFDIS) is a quarterly peer-reviewed journal focusing on African films, Africans in the Diaspora, African music of all genre, African drama/theatre and all forms of the performance arts in the continent including carnivals, masquerades and dances. It also accepts papers on all forms of communication arts including branding and the visual arts. •The journal has a Virtual Editorial Assistant (VEA) who is attached to the journal’s editor and who liaises between the journal’s editor and the Authors. The VEA receives and acknowledges the receipt of papers on behalf of the editor. The editor and publishers decide on which articles should be made open access. There is no extra free for the authors whose articles are selected to be open access.
