Scope

The Journal of Technology in Counseling, a new web-based journal housed at Columbus State University is actively soliciting articles on the use of technology in areas related to counseling, counseling training, and counselor education. The Journal encourages counselors and related helping professionals trained in traditional approaches to add a new dimension to their practices. Manuscripts should provide insight pertaining to technological advances and/or provide information about incorporating a technological component into the counseling process and the education of counselor trainees. Articles can highlight the use of technology in different settings (schools, mental health settings, rehabilitation sites, prisons, collegiate settings, drug and alcohol clinics, etc.) or in different modalities (individual counseling, group counseling, marriage and family counseling, etc.). Manuscripts can also report progress and limitations associated with technology in counseling. Join the conversation about this journal
