Scope

Chinese Space Science and Technology, sponsored by China Academy of Space Technology, is an academic and technical journal which introduces Chinese spacecraft engineering technology thoroughly and systematically. Marshal Nie Rongzhen, former vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China was much concerned about this journal. The first publication of this journal was published in June.1981. Marshal Nie Rongzhen himself inscribed for the journal and also expressed his best wishes as “Rapid development for Chinese space science and technology, Great achievements for comrades”. The purpose of the journal is to “communicate scientific research achievements, explore advanced technology, activate academic research, encourage the growth of elites, and serve space undertaking”. The goal of the journal is to make Chinese Space Science and Technology one of the top domestic academic technology journals. This journal complies with the guideline that is “to let a hundred flowers blossom, to let a hundred schools of thought contend”. Academic democracy is encouraged and academic researches and discussions are carried out in this journal. We should try our best to make this journal as an important carrier for the personnel of Chinese space science and technology to publish their research achievements, to have academic communication with each other, and to explore advanced technology. We should also try our best to make this journal as an important window to propagandize and show the academic achievements of Chinese space science and technology, and also as a “bridge” or “link” for communications among personnel who engage in scientific researches in space technology areas. SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.

Cites per Doc

Evolution of the number of total citation per document and external citation per document (i.e. journal self-citations removed) received by a journal's published documents during the three previous years. External citations are calculated by subtracting the number of self-citations from the total number of citations received by the journal’s documents.
