Scope

The Revista de Direito Sanitário/ Journal of Health Law has the mission of disseminating knowledge and stimulating discussions in the interdisciplinary field of health law, independently of the authors’ research area. The publication is directed to professionals of the fields of health law, public policy, law and public health, as well as researchers, teachers and students of these areas. The journal is not thematic and its issues are organized according to the received contributions. The journal publishes only original manuscripts that are submitted exclusively for the journal, written by Brazilian and/or foreign researchers. The journal does not publish review articles, either translated articles from other publications. The papers submitted must be original and submitted only to the journal. Once accepted, the paper cannot be disclosed until its publication by the Revista de Direito Sanitário/ Journal of Health Law . Authors can share and discuss the research data at scientific events, with their colleagues or press, but they cannot distribute copies of the paper before its official publication. In case of paper presented at scientific events, the authors should indicate the name of the event, the place and date of the meeting. In case of paper based on a thesis it should be informed the name of the institution and year of the thesis. The Revista de Direito Sanitário/ Journal of Health Law adopts the double-blind review process to evaluate the papers. The publication does not charge the authors in any circumstances. Quartiles

The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.

SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
