Scope

The electronic journal Enfermería Global, supported by EDITUM (Editions of the University of Murcia), was founded in November 2002, with the sole intention of connecting and establishing a unifying bond among the nursing world, regardless of its roles, destinations, borders, hierarchies or academic level. The journal was biannually published until February 2008 when it turned into four-monthly. It has been published quarterly since January 2011. In a scientific and documentary style, the journal emerged from the interest in acquiring new means of information, access to research and the possibility of exchanging experiences and knowledge in an updated and rapid way. Enfermería Global pays careful attention to every detail in its edition to make it an attractive and easy to use publication for the Internet user. The digital document is a resource that offers countless advantages and benefits, provided that we use it properly and we are able to select from the information overload to which we are exposed, all accurate, realistic, present and authentic information expressed in its full text and open access contents. The articles, documents or published studies are related to the general fields corresponding to research, teaching, assistance and nursing administration. The sections of the journal are: -Originals.- Original works, studies and researches. -Reviews.- Critical and updated study on literature / themes of interest for the nursing discipline. Quartiles

The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.

SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
