Scope

Mais uma revista acadêmica. Com a explosão do espaço virtual, não há como ignorar o resmungo de um leitor que constate, com o nascimento de mais uma publicação, o crescimento desmesurado do número de textos para conhecer e informações para assimilar. Portanto, considerando que a multiplicação de artigos científicos parece, em algumas ocasiões, uma perigosa metástase, há uma necessidade de se apresentar ao público, cuja atenção precisa ser valorizada. Pensamos que parte da sensação de cansaço deve-se a uma evidência na realidade acadêmica brasileira: as revistas estão, em geral, atadas aos programas de pós-graduação; e os programas se estruturam em linhas de pesquisa que precisam ter sua produção contemplada. É justo e prático que assim seja, claro. Há, porém, um preço: a indefinição dos perfis e a dispersão da produção acadêmica. Para o pesquisador especializado – por vezes precocemente especializado – é extremamente difícil encontrar uma referência que lhe permita rastrear e colher os textos de sua bibliografia, sobretudo, aquela produzida no Brasil. É comum termos um interlocutor em nossa língua, quando nos imaginamos isolados em uma área de pesquisa ainda não consolidada. A proposta de História da Historiografia, portanto, não consiste em dispersar e fragmentar ainda mais a produção acadêmica, mas em oferecer um espaço de convergência da produção crescente, em volume e qualidade, no campo da teoria e história da historiografia - por isso a vocação interinstitucional da revista. Afinal, foi em uma série de encontros, ocorridos ao longo dos anos e em diferentes cidades do Brasil, que se percebeu que o olhar reflexivo sobre a Historiografia não é tão insólito quanto se poderia imaginar. Quartiles

The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
