Scope

The International School of Physics Enrico Fermi was founded in 1953 by Societa' Italiana di Fisica (SIF) and consists of 3 advanced physics courses held every summer in Varenna (on lake Como) by eminent scientists. Its aims are to promote and disseminateup-to-date information on current developments in various topics of contemporary physics. Over the years it has built up a prestigious reputation as a high-quality international school. More than 40 Nobel prize winners presented their lectures in Varenna, out of which 13 had been awarded soon after lecturing there. The books in this series present the proceedings of the courses which are published by SIF and distributed in partnership with IOS Press. Join the conversation about this journal

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
