Scope

The 9th IEEE International Conference on Autonomous Robot Systems and Competitions (ICARSC) gathers participants from academia and industry working in the field of autonomous robotics and related areas. It is organized within ROBOTICA 2015, the 15th Portuguese Robotics Open, a RoboCup-sponsored regional event that takes place every year on a different Portuguese town. ICARSC is an international full-fledged conference, scientifically sponsored by IEEE Robotics and Automation Society and by the Portuguese Robotics Society, which adopted this name in 2007, building up on the Scientific Meeting that integrates ROBOTICA since its inception in 2001. This year, ICARSC and ROBOTICA 2015 take place at the University of Tras-os-Montes e AltoDouro (UTAD) in Vila Real, Portugal [...] Within this context, the conference issued a call targeting cutting-edge research works on Agricultural Robotics, beyond its usual topics. This was well received by the community, being reflected on one full session with four oral presentations and in several other communications in the poster session, beyond a keynote speech by Pablo Gonzalez-de-Santos from the Centre for Automation and Robotics (UPM-CSIC) in Spain, entitled Towards the Fully Automated Farm. ICARSC 2015 received 54 submissions which were subject to peer reviewing. All papers were reviewed by at least three subject matter experts. In total, 218 reviews were written and 35 papers were accepted. This yields an average of 4.04 reviews per paper and an acceptance rate of approximately 64%. The 35 accepted papers were further divided in 23 for oral presentation in 8 sessions and 12 for poster presentation in a single poster session. The final technical program spans two days, ending in the third day with a social program that includes a conference banquet at the Quinta do Castro, in the Douro valley, where several awards will be presented. SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.

Self-Cites

Evolution of the total number of citations and journal's self-citations received by a journal's published documents during the three previous years.

Evolution of the number of total citation per document and external citation per document (i.e. journal self-citations removed) received by a journal's published documents during the three previous years. External citations are calculated by subtracting the number of self-citations from the total number of citations received by the journal’s documents.
