Scope

Welcome to the 22nd IEEE Virtual Reality Conference (VR 2015), the premier international conference and exhibition on virtual reality, held March 23nd–27th in Arles, Camargue-Provence, France, one of the most popular tourist regions of France. As with past conferences, we hope to excite and inspire attendees with the many events scheduled as part of VR 2015. Also, we want to emphasize that the VR conference comes to Europe for only the second time in its long history. It was in Bonn, Germany, in 2005. This year's VR conference mixes tradition and innovation. While continuing and improving the scientific quality with more thorough selection procedures, this year also extends the conference to include lab and collaborative project presentations that give a broader view of exciting current activities, research agendas, problems tackled, and applications within the VR field. Similarly, this year's conference also includes industry-oriented presentations, with industry leaders presenting not only their latest products and achievements, but also their perspectives on current challenges and future opportunities for VR.

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'.
