Scope

The tenth edition of the “Escuela Argentina de Microelectrónica, Tecnología y Aplicaciones”, is taking place in Villa María, Córdoba, hosted by Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Facultad Regional Villa María. Nine regular papers, out of nineteen initial submissions, and two invited papers were accepted to be presented at the conference and afterwards be published in IEEE Xplore. The revision process was rigorous and achieved a 47% acceptance rate. Paper topics include analog design, digital design, low power design, verification, radiation effects, devices, filters, electronic systems, communications and optoelectronics. Six student posters out of eight submitted were accepted to be presented during the conference, encouraging young researchers to present their first works. All papers received at least three reviews. We want to specially thank all reviewers for their hard work in providing useful feedback to improve the papers, as they are the key to maintain the technical quality of the proceedings. The best paper and best student paper will be awarded. The Technical Program is also very diverse and rich. During the event, several lectures will be delivered by experts from Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile and Belgium. Industry day will count with known Semiconductor, Design and EDA companies from around the world, plus representatives of Investment Funds and important national electronics companies. One of the targets of EAMTA is to help establish a technological platform in the country, and in doing this, we continue emphasizing the central role of students. Therefore, continuing with the tradition started in the first EAMTA, sixty (60) travel and lodging grants were provided to students from different provinces of Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. We want to thank all sponsors for making this possible. One hundred and two students have registered for the event so far. Join the conversation about this journal
