Scope

Research efforts involving several disciplines in particularly computer science and engineering are going beyond expectations but in many occasions remain at a theoretical level. It goes without saying that one of the primary purposes of research is the application of knowledge to serve the global society. Many companies are learning that in order to further their growth and innovation they need to partner with scientists and researchers to develop proper mechanisms that convey the emerging advances of modern research. With this in mind, ICAR ‘15 aims to bring together scientists of the computer science and engineering disciplines to share and exchange knowledge, experience and results, particularly in applied research that may help meet the needs of local industries and academic institutions. The ICAR’15 is more than just an international conference, but rather an educational platform, to discuss research and publications among young and talented students, scientists, engineers, and professionals. It offers an opportunity for participants to meet with experts and discuss cutting-edge approaches, insights that address the revolutionary aspects of nowadays technologies. ICAR’15 will include keynote sessions hosting international experts to present and discuss state-of-the-art technologies and techniques, research sessions allowing researchers to present their research results, a tutorial session and a poster session allowing selected computer science and computer engineering students to present and promote their final year projects. SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.

Self-Cites

Evolution of the total number of citations and journal's self-citations received by a journal's published documents during the three previous years.
Journal Self-citation is defined as the number of citation from a journal citing article to articles published by the same journal.
