Scope

Rivista fondata nel 1968 con l’obiettivo di costituire un luogo privilegiato per il dibattito interdisciplinare sulle trasformazioni della società, le sue particolari modalità e i suoi effetti sull’organizzazione della città e del territorio. Per il suo taglio prevalentemente scientifico, la rivista ospita soprattutto resoconti di ricerca, riflessioni su specifici aspetti disciplinari, con numerose escursioni nei diversi campi delle scienze sociali, rassegne della più aggiornata letteratura, saggi di riflessione originali. Gli "editoriali" esprimono punti di vista "polemici" su alcuni aspetti più salienti del dibattito politico e culturale attuale. I temi affrontati dalla rivista sono sostanzialmente quelli legati all’esplorazione dei diversi aspetti delle trasformazioni della società, privilegiando un’ottica territoriale. Tra gli argomenti più frequentati dai contributi selezionati dalla redazione della rivista si ritrovano le problematiche inerenti gli squilibri territoriali; i processi di natura sociale ed economica in atto all’interno della città e della società, le loro caratteristiche e i loro effetti; le forme evolutive del territorio, delle aree e delle città metropolitane, le loro caratteristiche e i relativi problemi, quali mobilità, disagio, immigrazione. L’obiettivo principale di Archivio è quello di costituire uno strumento per la conoscenza disciplinare delle diverse problematiche che interessano il territorio e che possono essere di aiuto nella comprensione delle sue diverse dimensioni e manifestazioni; di costituire uno strumento di aggiornamento, oltreché fornire l’opportunità per avanzare nuove interpretazioni o suggestioni innovative nella lettura dei processi sociali ed economici. Quartiles

The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
