Scope

Geologica Macedonica (GM) is established on behalf of the Faculty of Natural and Technical Sciences in the University “Goce Delcev” in Stip, Republic of Macedonia. It is part of the Open Journal System, system with open access policy that is operated by the Goce Delchev University, Republic of North Macedonia. The University is the publisher of the journal. The journal is designed to encourage interest in all matters relating to Earth Sciences, the promotion of geology and geological phenomena, in the Republic North Macedonia, the region and in on the World level. An emphasis is on matters of theory and practice on broad issues arising from the relationship of wider Earth Science disciplines encouraging interdisciplinary approach in areas of relevance, but it is also open for all other international scholars and their international and up-to date researches on Earth Sciences in the global world. The journal does not favor one over another approach, but rather encourages the use of appropriate scientific approaches for the given topic or paper. The GM urges potential authors to consider a wide range of important practices, methodologies, and theories, in areas including: The main scope of this Journal is on several areas of Earth Sciences. Quartiles

The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.

SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document
