Scope

The Journal of Laboratory and Precision Medicine (JLPM, J Lab Precis Med, Online ISSN: 2519-9005) is an open access, peer-reviewed, international online journal that publishes both solicited and unsolicited manuscripts. With the aim of reporting new findings, JLPM provides current, practical information from the laboratory and precision medicine field. It publishes original articles, editorials, technical notes, case reports, and reviews covering all aspects of clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine. ‘Laboratory medicine’ is defined as the analytical and clinical investigation of laboratory tests on humans used for disease diagnosis, risk stratification, severity or prognosis estimation, and treatment monitoring, including but not limited to clinical hematology, thrombosis and haemostasis, clinical biochemistry, disease-oriented biomarkers (e.g. cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, infectious diseases), body fluid analytes, genetical diagnosis, clinical immunology and autoimmunity, clinical metrology, therapeutic drug monitoring, quality and safety in laboratory medicine, new analytical methodologies. Quartiles

The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document
