Scope

The journal “Arkhiv Patologii” (Archive of Pathology) is one of the oldest periodical medical publications in Russia, founded in 1935. It publishes original research on topical issues of pathological anatomy and general pathology, covering the most important provisions of the theory and practice of various human diseases (oncology, infectious diseases, heart and vascular diseases, nephropathology, professional pathology, gastroenterology, etc.), as well as experimental and geographical pathology. In order to familiarize a wide range of readers with the latest achievements of domestic and foreign medicine are regularly published advanced and review articles, reviews of the most interesting domestic and foreign books, new data on modern research methods in morphology and molecular biology (immunohistochemistry, electron microscopy, polymerase chain reaction, etc.). The issues of organizing the pathological service and teaching pathological anatomy are covered. Articles on the history of pathological anatomy are regularly published, reports on the work of scientific societies of pathologists, reports on symposiums and meetings are placed. Quartiles

The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.
