Scope

Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics is an international peer reviewed journal published with the participation of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It presents full-text articles (regular, letters to the editor, reviews) with the most recent results in miscellaneous fields of physics and astronomy: nuclear physics, cosmic rays, condensed matter physics, plasma physics, optics and photonics, nanotechnologies, solar and astrophysics, physical applications in material sciences, life sciences, etc. Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics focuses on the most relevant multidisciplinary topics in natural sciences, both fundamental and applied. Manuscripts can be submitted in Russian and English languages and are subject to peer review. Accepted articles are usually combined in thematic issues on certain topics according to the journal editorial policy. Authors featured in the journal represent renowned scientific laboratories and institutes from different countries, including large international collaborations. There are globally recognized researchers among the authors: Nobel laureates and recipients of other awards, and members of national academies of sciences and international scientific societies. Quartiles

The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.

SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The chart shows the evolution of the average number of times documents published in a journal in the past two, three and four years have been cited in the current year. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
