Scope

The Brazilian Journal of Mother and Child Health (BJMCH) / Revista Brasileira de Saúde Materno Infantil (RBSMI) is a quarterly publication (March, June, September and December) whose mission is to promote scientific articles in the field of maternal and child health. The contributions contemplate different aspects in maternal health, women's health and child health and it may take into account the multiple epidemiological, clinical and surgical determinants. Each article is published in English and Portuguese or English and Spanish according to the origin language of the submitted manuscript. For the submitted manuscripts written only in Portuguese or Spanish, the English version will be requested as soon as the manuscript is accepted for publication. The evaluation and selection of the manuscripts are based on the principle of the peers’ evaluation. For submission, evaluation and publication of the articles there are no fees. The only requirement is that the submitted manuscript has not been previously published and is not being submitted concomitantly to any another journal. Join the conversation about this journal
