Scope

The tenet of this journal is to report in a timely manner dynamics, theories, methodology and findings of the research in the field of ecology and rural environment protection. It contains mainly the following columns, i.e. research reports, newsletters, methodology, monographs and reviews, academic discussions and recommendations, book reviews, dynamics and information, etc.. It addresses mainly: 1) Regional Environment and Development, including changes in eco-environment and their impacts on the global environment, risk assessment of regional eco-environment, programming and management of environment, organic farming and agro-ecology, regional ecological economy and ecological security, etc.; 2) Nature Conservation and Ecology, including conservation and exploitation of natural resources, biodiversity and invasion of alien species, environmental security and monitoring of genetically modified objects, ecological protection, ecological engineering and ecological remediation, etc.; 3) Pollution Control and Remediation, including principles and technology for pollution control, soil pollution and remediation, water environment pollution and remediation, integrated utilization and reclamation of agricultural wastes, risk assessment and monitoring of agro-chemicals (including all chemicals), etc. The journal is oriented towards readers like researchers, technologists, teachers, decision-makers, managers and college students in the fields of ecology, environmental science, agronomy, forestry, earth sciences, resource sciences, etc. Join the conversation about this journal
Quartiles

The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.

SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document
